life begins at conception - politics

If we fail to learn from history, we are doomed as a nation. There was a Civil War fought in this country on whether or not you had the right to own another human being. We, as a nation, have come to see how wrong this ideal was. In even more recent history, Nazi Germany justified the terminating of millions of human beings based simply on their ethnicity. The "rightness" of this was embraced by millions of Germans. Today, it is viewed by virtually the entire world, including Germany, as a dark spot on that country's history. Hopefully, we as an American people will one day see the embracing of abortion on demand as an even bigger blemish on our history than that of slavery and even the Holocaust, as it has cost our civilization even more in terms of human life. The right to life is one of our "inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Abortion is a crime against our most basic rights. Abortion was made "legal" through litigation, and there exists the possibility that it will take litigation to make it illegal. This is a grass-roots issue, and any resolve to it will because of initiating all possible paths of protest against that 1973 decision. All our laws we enact require a basis. Our president and vice president take an oath with their hands on the Bible. If the Bible is the basis for the laws we instate, then we should abide by the injunctions emphasizing the sacredness of life therein stated (eg. Exodus 20:13; 23:7). Also, God places a lot of emphasis on "seed" in His book. Please read Psalm 139 and Job 31:15 and take note of how the creative process of God is at work within the womb. There is ample evidence that God conceptualized and conceived us at the beginning of time, and envisioned a life for us (Jer. 1:5, Job 31:15, Luke 1:30-55; 2:21, Rom. 4:16-22, Gal. 1:15, Isa. 49). We need to support not only the right to life but also the very foundations of law on which we stand. Let us do all we can to end the killing of God's creative intentions. What is morally right supersedes what we consider our "personal rights." We only have as much freedom as that which we are responsible toward. What's a life worth? Much more than most things we spend our money on.

FFS try reading for content sometime.

You know, pf, every time I see a posting from you, I get this vision in my head of a tv show I used to watch called "Kids say the darnedest things"

what does roe v wade have to do with anything that I've said. Lately, you've moved more and more in the land of the bizarre and uninformed.
PapaFox - May 3, 2013, 7:38 pm
You made the false equivalence that abortion = Planned Parenthood and Planned Parenthood = abortion. And you STILL dodge the fact that it was a Republican-dominated court that ruled that government has no business interfering in a woman's right to choose.
StoneTools - May 3, 2013, 7:17 pm
Nobody stated anything about mandatory, where did that come from? Rectal extractions don't bolster your argument.
StoneTools - May 3, 2013, 7:17 pm
You usually do a pretty good job of sounding rational, but you failed this time. When people think abortion, they either think Gosnell or Planned Parenthood.
Renza - May 3, 2013, 10:42 am
They advocate for the option of abortion, not for it to be mandatory. Your implication is fail.
StoneTools - May 3, 2013, 9:35 am
let me respond for you: Oh, yeah, well I have a bellyb***on. That would be about the only intelligent statement you could make at this point.
StoneTools - May 3, 2013, 9:28 am
Then you can explain how legality or politics play into what I said.
StoneTools - May 3, 2013, 9:24 am
for a moment and put the two questions together. Now explain how my statement is a lie.

Benghazigate - citizens deserve answers - politics

Stunningly, though not surprisingly, a Republican progress report detailing an investigation of the events surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012, terrorist attacks on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya, released April 23 by the chairmen of five House committees, revealed hapless incompetence, shameful cowardice and brazen deceit on the part of President Barack Obama and his administration. Further, the investigation found that the lax security that enabled the attacks was the responsibility of former secretary of state Hillary Clinton. The deception that occurred from inaccurate talking points was the White House and senior State Department officials' responsibility. What is equally shameful is the media's ongoing lack of interest in investigating these shocking actions during and after the events. It is despicable that the media did not consider this scandal to be newsworthy – especially when we consider the assassination of Ambassador Chris Stevens and the deaths of three other brave Americans, which makes Watergate pale by comparison. If the U.S. media purports to represent truth and justice, this speaks volumes about how we should view the information they present to us as news. If the media believe that the information contained in this report is biased, then their obligation is to conduct investigative reports that present to us what they believe is the truth. I encourage all Americans who recognize the need to fully investigate and obtain justice in response to the Benghazi scandal to contact their Congressional Representative and to support HR36, calling for the appointment of a special committee to ensure this.

Liberals rarely are pro-life, pro-choice - politics

Liberals are not consistently pro-choice. They don't want anyone to be able to choose whether they will be in a union, what they eat or drink, what kind of light bulb they use and the big one: how much money they can keep that they earned and where it goes. Liberals support tax increases at every turn and want to use others' tax dollars to support their beliefs. Liberals being pro-choice? Apparently, only on one issue.

Hanoi John a traitor to America - politics

In 1971, John Kerry was working with Jane Fonda aiding the enemy that we were fighting. They were burning American Flags and carrying pictures of Ho Chi Minh and communists flags. They next year, propaganda posters could be found all over Vietnam's jungles of Fonda wearing an enemy uniform, manning an antiaircraft weapon in Hanoi, and of Kerry leading a demonstration in Washington. In 1971, Kerry published a book that was pro-Hanoi and whose cover mocked the flag raising at Iwo Jima. His book and speeches trashed an entire generation of the United States Armed Forces who fought in Vietnam. These activities make John Kerry, Jane Fonda and all others like them, traitors. The blood of thousands of America's finest is on their hands. The North Vietnamese were encouraged to continue a war that they couldn't win on the battlefield, but on our home front. A war that was fought for a noble cause to stop communism and to save South Vietnam was defamed, smeared and ultimately lost. Lost by the Kerry-types, left-wing liberal politicians, most of the media, and hordes of college protestors, and draft dodgers. The draft dodgers were later given legitimacy and called real heroes by Jimmy Carter. This is a slap in the face to anyone who ever served and the most disgraceful act of any president in our history.
